Objectives of the project IT & MIS is planning to adopt the latest Information Technology in order to improve efficiency of operations and utilization of resources. The proposed project aims to establish a state-of-the-art I.T. infrastructure for Fauji Foundation Hospital (Kallar Kahar). This system will be capable of :

 

Providing an interdepartmental online communication through LAN and the same with higher management through WAN. The automation of FFH entails the transformation of traditional administrative file work of Departments to the automated environment having least dependence on paper work coupled with real time response.

 

A high-level system vision has been articulated with the following themes :

• Maintain a centralized database from where all information will be processed, stored, and retrieved.

• System should be Risk/Security protected and disaster recovery capable.

• Authorized user can access the relevant latest information from any where in the hospital network.

• Provide user-friendly interface for data entry purpose.

• Ensure instant and error free validation of data entered through front-end application for online application.

• Ensure centrally available information though integration to reduce movement of papers.

• Scalability of application towards the utilization of modern technique of treatment.

• Provide more timely and accurate information for analysis and reporting.
