HISTORY

 

The hospital started functioning on 2 Aug 1975 with 50 beds capacity. Now it is 70 beds facility since Mar 2006, spread over an area of 28 acres. The area of Beneficiary dependence for specialized treatment extends from Chakwal in the north, Khushab in the south, to east Lillah and Choa Saiden Shah, to west Talagang and Danda Shah Bilawal which encompasses as sizeable bulk of the Punjab Beneficiaries. This hospital provides treatment in the fields of Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Radiology and Pathology. The hospital also operates 2 x mobile dispensaries for the surrounding areas of Kallar Kahar

The hospital is providing healthcare to over 338 indoor and about 5,518 outdoor patients per month. During the year 2015-16, 4,056 indoor, 43,371 outdoor patients and 18,081 patients in mobile dispensaries were treated. Since inception, this hospital has provided healthcare services to over 3.76 million patients.
